Bluelvis™ powers The Bushnell's new website

Avon, CT, October 25, 2002

With the launch in October of The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts new website, The Donaldson Group Inc unveiled Bluelvis™, a proprietary and cost-effective Internet content management solution. Targeted and developed primarily for small and mid-size organizations, Bluelvis provides a technology platform with a highly non-technical content interface, allowing organizations like The Bushnell to manage virtually all website changes in-house, from on-line news releases to calendar listings. Now, websites can be more timely, more accurate and provide more services. With Bluelvis, they are also far less expensive than conventional content management solutions.

"The Donaldson Group brought exceptional skills in graphic design and communications to our website," said Tod Kallenbach, The Bushnell's senior director of external relations. "They also offered us what we were looking for in website content management."

As an online resource for arts and entertainment at Connecticut's premier performing arts center, Bushnell.org has several useful features including a detailed performance calendar, online ticketing through Tickets.com and an easy-to-use search engine that can help visitors find everything from seating charts to show times.

Visitors find it easy to plan their next trip to The Bushnell with the website's dining and hotel recommendations, maps, group sales and facility rental guide. Visitors can also sign up to get news and special offers emailed to them. They can also be alerted when new shows are announced or special discounts become available.

"Our new website is designed to keep patrons up-to-date on all Bushnell performances and offers the latest news about our educational and community programs, as well as provides a resource for information on local arts organizations," said Tod Kallenbach.

As specialists in image communications and media design. The Donaldson Group has also helped to develop The Bushnell's overall image and visual personality, including its recent logo and graphic identity update, materials for its PARTNERS (Partners in Arts and Education Revitalizing Schools) program, and annual reports.

In addition to its association with The Bushnell, The Donaldson Group Inc recent clients include The Hartford, Pitney Bowes, EMCOR Group, Imagistics, Orvis and Hasbro. Their services are marketing communications, emedia and Internet services, product design and product packaging.
