Jaye Donaldson Business Leader
of the Year

It's our pleasure to announce that Jaye has been recognized as a 2002 Business Leader of the Year by the Metro Hartford Regional Economic Alliance.

The award recognizes people in business that show exceptional leadership skills and community involvement.

Three Metro Hartford business leaders are 2002 winners of this prestigious award.

Jaye was honored along with Larry Gold, president and CEO of the Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Joseph Zweibel, publisher of The Hartford Business Journal at the 10th annual Rising Star Kick-Off Breakfast of The Connecticut Business Exposition at the Hartford Civic Center on May 23, 2002.

Jaye is president of The Donaldson Group, a nationally recognized leader in image and brand communications. She is the current chairman and former president of the Association of Professional Design Firms (APDF) and serves on the boards of the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame and The Foundation for Mental Health.

Jaye has also been active with the UCONN Children's Cancer Fund, American Paralysis Association, American Heart Association and the Girl Scouts. A resident of Avon, Connecticut, Jaye serves on numerous civic committees, and also coaches an Avon girls travel soccer team.
